Belső elrendezése, működése nagyon hasonlít az Aligátorhoz, illetve Derbi, Apollo, Little Star lámpákhoz: Egy szálizzó forog a zene ütemére, (ebben a lámpában 500W-os, de készült 1000W-os változat is), ennek a színes optikákon kiérkező fénysávjai adják a fényeffektet.
A rengeteg kétdimenziós elrendezésű lámpa mellett, melyeken az optikák egy sorba rendezve helyezkednek el, üdítő, egyedi színfolt volt a Merci a diszkók mennyezetén!

Unmistakable, cultish light effect from the 90’s, getting its name from the similarity to Mercedes cars’ symbol. Its principle, internal structure looks very much like the Aligátor’s, Derbi’s, Apollo’s, Little Stars: a linear bulb rotates to the rhythm of the music (this fixture freatures a 500W type, but 1000W versions existed as well), the light of the bulb exiting through the colored optics generated the light-effect.
Among the numerous fixtures with two-dimensional arrangement – optics next to each other, it was a surprising and beloved lighting effect of its time.
